Step 9 – Set One-on-Ones
Enhancing your network of referrals, friends, partners and clients to grow your business requires having a database. That doesn’t mean having a list of names you picked up or purchased or collecting a pile of business cards, but people who know who you are.
One-on-Ones are how you differentiate yourself from all of the other people who are in the same industry. This allows people to get to know your strengths and expertise; and why you are the right person for the job. This can’t be communicated on a business card.
In the process of doing one on ones, you will build a team around you regardless of whether you do business or not with them. They will become your fan base – they will be your cheerleaders and when you need something, they will be able to help you find what you need.
